The other day I went to church and during the homily my priest made an analogy that life is like a set of railroad tracks. One rail is the good things happening in your life and at the same time the other track represents the bad things that are happening in your life. I thought about this and I agree. Bobby is now out of work for 6 months and had a close call with his ticker. The economy is crap and it is taking a toll on us (as I am sure a lot of other people). But on the other hand I have a great job, Ryan is the best thing that ever happened to us and her smile and laughter is getting us through this not so easy time. On the other hand it seems as though some people have an easy ride (fabulous family vacations, wifey is a stay at home mom, etc.) and I am wondering if I am jealous of these people or if the grass is greener where they are? But doesn't everyone have a set of railroad tacks in their life?
I hope I don't sound too cynical - I would never begrudge someone for what they have because I do thank the Lord above for all that I have. AMEN!

It is almost time to go home (yes I am going to leave at 5pm today) and I have been cleaning my bosses office (just his overhead bins) for the past 4 hours. My goodness there is so much stuff JAMMED in there I am surprised I didn't get any paper cuts. Crissy ordered sushi for lunch and I just about puked when I had to meet with her.
I am reading other peoples blog and it actually is interesting to understand what is going on with their lives and what they are thinking. I am waiting for Beth to post a new recipe. I inserted a photo of Ryan on my blog home page (is that what you call it?).
Thought for the day: Why is it that some people are just not nice at work? Is it because they are miserable inside? I know that I may be perceived that I am not nice when actually I am just being a tough guy - a bitch. My bark is bigger than my bite.

My First Blog
Well here I am trying to figure out what to post on my very first blog entry. I have never blogged, read a blog and basically never knew what a blog was until recently. I think it is amazing that people actually blog for a living. I can't even imagine having that much free time to post a blog entry.
It took me a while to come up with my blog name. Even though I work at a very creative agency I do not consider myself creative in the way that I think, however I can be creative.
I am not sure what I will be blogging about and if it will be of any interest to anyone else but I will give it a try. Right now I am on the phone with Pitney Bowes (a company that apparently is a monopoly that companies must use if they want a postage machine). Guess what? After being transferred to two different people I just got disconnected. Now I have to call back and be a bitch which I was trying to avoid being today.
Until next time...
